English: John III of Portugal in an engraving. Not a portrait of Steven van der Hagen, this is the likeness of King John III of Portugal, 1535. To spare time and costs book printers used the same print multiple times for different publications.[1]
Nederlands: Journael van de voyagie, gedaen met twaelf scheepen naer Oost-Indien, onder het beleydt van den Heer Admirael Steven van der Hagen, Waer in verhalet wordt het veroveren der Portugeesche Forten op Amboyna en Tidoor, Mitsgaders de reyse van 't schip Delft / (mede onder dese vloot behorende) van Bantam naer de kuste van Choromandel / en andere plaetsen ; beschryvende het gedenckwaerdigste dat haer op de Reyse / soo te Water als te Lande / is voor gevallen. t'Amsterdam, gedruckt by Gillis Joosten Saeghman, [ca.1663]
