Summary
[edit]DescriptionSteps up the dune ridge - geograph.org.uk - 1016231.jpg |
English: Steps up the dune ridge. Wooden steps in very good condition provide easy access over the dune ridge and onto the beach without damaging the fragile vegetation. Despite this convenient access some people walk straight up the dunes, trample the marram grass and cause new erosion > 1016227.
At Crinkle Hill Gap the public footpath > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1016215 joins a well-maintained track which can be seen here, running parallel to the dune ridge in both directions, on the landward side. The footpath starts at Crinkle Hill > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/273964. It leads through marshland, northwards to Crinkle Hill Gap > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1016217 and to the beach beyond. |
