| Description |
Italiano: La colonna, denominata “stele Signori”, fu fatta erigere dall’ottimo Ingegnere Ettore Signori durante il riordino del sistema idraulico dei luoghi ad ovest di Cremona. Le frecce sono state incise sulla parte alta della colonna per permettere l’osservazione a chi percorreva la via Postumia seduto “a cassetta” di una carrozza. La stele posta tra la via Postumia ed il dugale Delmona Tagliata è ricavata da un blocco unico di calcare biancastro lavorato a forma di colonna. Probabilmente vi era un capitello che si ruppe durante il trasporto e l’ingegner Signori rimediò con la forma singolare della colonna che ha suggerito tanti maliziosi commenti e nomignoli. |
