Deutsch: Grabrelief der Mnesarete. Vor der verstorbenen Frau (rechts) steht ein Mädchen. Inschrift: ΜΝΗΣΑΡΕΤΗ ΣΩΚΡΑΤΟΣ (»Mnesarete [die Tochter] des Sokrates«). Darunter ein Gedicht: »Diese ließ ihren Man zurück und Geschwister, und der Mutter den Schmerz, auch ihr Kind und nichtalternden Ruf großer Tugend. Hier [im Grab] hält Persephones Gemach Mnesarete umfangen, die zum Ziel jeglicher Tugend gelangte«. Attika, um 380 v. Chr.
