Bis in die 90er Jahre war die Gegend um die nördliche Potsdamer Straße für sein Rotlichtcharakter bekannt, der sich ab Anfang der 2000er Jahre größtenteils auf den Straßenstrich an der Bülowstraße und der Kurfürstenstraße beschränkt.

Until the 1990s, the area around the northern Potsdamer Strasse was known for its red light character, which from the early 2000s was largely restricted to the street prostitution on Bülowstrasse and Kurfürstenstrasse.
