Stein vermutlich Grenzstein unterhalb von mittelalterlicher Burgstall (Denkmalnummer D-7-7628-0045). Ca. 700 Meter Luftlinie südlich von Oberhagenried. Das Bayrische Landesamt für Denkmalpflege schreibt dazu: Bei dem auf der Oberseite abgerundete und inschriftlich mit der Nummer 188 bezeichneten Steinpfeiler mit rechteckigem Umriss handelt es sich wohl um einen Jagdgrenzstein; die Nachbarsteine des einstigen Grenzverlaufs sind nicht auszumachen. Das offenbar als Rudiment einer historischen Revierabgrenzung erhaltene Objekt lässt für dessen Entstehungszeit keine besondere Bedeutung erkennen.
