Description
English: Tail spikes from a Stegosaurus on display in the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana. (It is not clear where this specimen was collected.) The name means "covered lizard", a reference to its bony back-plates, and it lived between some 155 to 150 million years ago in western North America and western Europe.
