English: Notes in inventory: Seattle, Wash. Steamer Flyer. Made from Steamer Kingston . The steamboat FLYER was built ca. 1890. She was in service between Seattle and Tacoma for 28 years and traveled nearly two million miles before being extensively rebuilt at Seattle in 1918, emerging as the WASHINGTON. Following wartime service, she was retained by the Puget Sound Navigation Company for another decade as a spare boat and in special excursion service . PH Coll 291.286
