English: Steam engine and footbridge at Alresford. Alresford marks the western end of the Watercress Line, although trains used to run beyond here to Winchester until the line was closed in 1973. It is now the administrative headquarters of the line. The footbridge used to be at Uckfield station and was rebuilt here in 1994. |
