Description
English: This image shows 4 steam locomotives around the turntable at the Hungarian railway museum in Budapest Hungary.

From left MÁV class 303 002 is one of only two built in this class, introduced into service 1951 just prior to the onset of diesel and electric power taking over from steam.

MÁV class 424 365 is a famous class of Hungarian steam locomotives. The class appears in numerous nostalgic remembrances, in literature, in the movies and as models. The 424 class is a double-chimney, superheated machine. Its nicknames were "Buffalo" and "Nurmi" (after Paavo Nurmi, a famous Finnish runner well known in Hungary).

MÁV class 424,001 was the first of the class built out of a total of 514 produced between 1924–1958.. It looks really different to the one on it's left but the info is from the plaque in front of it...
