Deutsch: Werner Stauffacher baut sein Haus. Fresko über dem Eingang der Stauffacherkapelle in Steinen.
Das Fresko stammt ursprünglich aus dem 18. oder 19. Jh., wurde aber um 1900 übermalt und 1979/80 wiederhergestellt/rekonstruiert. Das alte Gemälde ist noch sichtbar auf diesem Foto von 1890. Die Inschrift ist erwähnt in Eduard Osenbrüggen, Die Urschweiz (1872), p. 31:
Der Kirchturm von Steinen ist mit seinem Kuppelspitzhelm von 1740 dargestellt. Die Übermalung ist dargestellt auf alten Postkarten ab etwa 1900: [1] [2] [3] [4][5][6] |
