| Description |
English: Statues on Stirling Castle's forecourt. The Boer War Memorial and Robert the Bruce have a commanding view over the Forth valley. The Wallace Monument can be seen across the valley along with the Ochil Hills. Two stretches of the river can be seen. Strangely these are flowing in opposite directions - away from us to the right of the soldier and towards us to his left. The meandering river has turned full circle on its way passed Causewayhead. |
