Description
English: The Satue of Unity is a bronze statue of Sardar Vallbh bhai Patel at Kevadia in the Narmada district of Gujarat, India. It is the tallest statue in the world at 182 meters. Sardar Patel was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of Independant India. The statue is named in rememberance of his efforts in uniting the 562 princely states of India to form a single union of India. He is known as the iron man of India amd thus the statue is made of a steel and concrete structure clad with bronze.
