Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Station Hill, Bury St. Edmunds. Station Hill is dominated by many Victorian industrial buildings attracted by the railway. Many of these now form night-time attractions - night clubs; kebab supplier; Indian restaurant. The station is behind us in this shot. Most of the industrial buildings are hidden on the right, but the nightclub, pool hall and gym on the left was formerly a maltings. Further down the hill we can see The Gaff, shown elsewhere in Geograph.

Beyond the roundabout Ipswich Street leads into the town centre.

St. John's church (see 989536) dominates the skyline, while a crane gives away the position of the Arc shopping development.
