Summary
[edit]DescriptionStation Clock Aarau.jpg | The biggest clock in Switzerland has a diameter of 9 m. The weight of the pointers of which the heaviest weighs about 150 kg provides considerable challenges to the clockwork. As I shot the photo, the sweep hand had just a failure. Some say this would be the biggest station clock in Europe, but that's unfortunately not quite correct. The clock in the station of Cergy-St-Christophe Paris with a diameter of 12 m is even bigger. Aarau, Switzerland, March 10, 2012. |
