Description
English:

This State Seal brand apple box label features a version of the State Seal of Washington with the words "Washington Apples" around the portrait of George Washington. The label indicates that these apples were distributed exclusively by Pacific Fruit & Produce Co. of Seattle. Company founder George Youell began his business selling fruit from a cart in Tacoma in 1890, and founded Pacific Fruit & Produce in 1910. The company began using the name "Snoboy" for its Washington state apples in 1925.
