Description
English: Attendants from the Persse - Parry-Okeden wedding in the gardens of Delamore, Kedron, Brisbane, 1907. The bridesmaids and groomsmen from the Persse - Parry-Okeden wedding in the gardens of Delamore at Kedron, in October 1907. Bridesmaids were: Miss Constance Parry-Okeden, Miss Jessie Persse and Miss Leila Slade. Groomsmen were: Mr. De Burgh, D. D. Persse (Best Man), Captain F. Newton and Mr. L. H. C. Morgan. The wedding was between Miss Violet-Vivian Parry-Okeden and Mr. Charles D. Persse. The ceremony took place at St. Andrew's Church, Lutwyche, and the reception in the gardens of the grand residence Delamore. The bridesmaids wore dresses trimmed with violet designs and carried baskets 'ornamented with heliotrope ribbons and bunches of violets' in honour of the bride's name.
