English: Wedding party on the steps of Brynhyfryd, Ipswich, 1901
The wedding party for Mary Thomas (1877 - 1921), only daughter of wealthy Ipswich colliery owner Lewis Thomas MLA. Mary married Thomas Bridson Cribb jr., eldest son of Hon. T. B. Cribb (State Treasurer), on 01 April 1901. The wedding group is standing outside 'Brynhyfryd', the bride's family home at Blackstone Hill, Ipswich. The bride was attended by Miss Vera Cribb, sister of the bridegroom, her bridesmaids were Miss Ida Gibbs, a cousin and Miss Marie James. The pageboys were Masters Gerwyn Jones and Emrys James (son of the Rev.J. James. The groom's best man was W. E. Walker, L.L.D.
