Built: J. Reid, Co, Port Glasgow, by J. Reid, Co
Shipping Line: Waverley Line of Liverpool, then Arthur Sewall of Bath, Maine
Renamed: Star of Scotland, upon transfer to Alaska Packers' Association fleet in 1908. Salmon fishing and canning until 1917
WWI service: US Shipping Board, between Hawaii and W. Coast of US
Post war: Returned to Alaska Packers' Association
Sold for offshore fishing platform: 1930, to Arnold Pearce and partner, Los Angeles
Sold for gambling ship: 1938. Renamed Rex, operated outside US territorial limit
WWII service: Sold to F.A. Hellenthal, Santa Monica; name returned to Star of Scotland. Re-rigged as schooner, six-masts.
Fate of ship: Sunk by U-Boat, South Atlantic, Nov. 13, 1942[1]
