[edit]
Description
English: Lutetia (ship) The ship was built in 1913, weighing 14, 654 tons. It was the sistership of the 'Gallia'. In 1914 the 'Lutetia' was badly damaged in a collision with the Greek ship 'Demitrios'. In the same year it was taken for war service as an armed troopship. In 1915 the ship was converted into a merchant cruiser, and later into a hospital ship. Again converted to a troopship, the 'Lutetia' resumed its duties in October 1920. In 1925 it was refitted and it converted to oil fuel. In March 1928 the ship was involved in a collision with steamer 'Balzal'. (Description supplied with photograph).
