Description
English: 4,471 GRT cargo steamship Fiona, built in 1909 by Sir Raylton Dixon & Co of Middlesbrough, Tees-side. Owned by the Colonial Sugar Refining Co and registered in Sydney, New South Wales. Bought in 1933 by the Anglo-Danish Shipping Co and renamed Johanne Justesen. Requisitioned in 1940 by the UK Ministry of War Transport, who appointed the British India SN Co to manage her. Sunk by Japanese submarine I-65 in 1942 in the Indian Ocean near Ceylon.
