English: J. N. Nicholson's Albion truck for use in his carrier business, Brisbane, ca.1927. This early Model Albion with solid tyres was the third truck acquired by Mr J. N. Nicholson. The bodywork with drop sides and semi-open cab was typical of the 1920-30 era. (Description taken from MackTrucks Bulldog Bulletin, vol.1. no.5 1968/69) J. N. Nicholson Carrier started as one person operation specialising in removals and went on to be the principal of one of the largest haulage enterprise in Queensland. |
