Summary

[edit]
Description
English: TA122 was built at Hatfield in 1945 and entered service in March that year, initially serving with 605 Squadron in Belgium and Holland and later with 4 Squadron in Germany.

Withdrawn from service in 1950, the fuselage became an instructional airframe at Delft Univesity in Holland from 1951 to 1970. After seven years in the Royal Netherlands Air Force museum, it came to Salisbury Hall. The airframe was restored using the mainplane from Sea Mosquito TR.33 ‘TW233’ which was recovered from Israel in 1980. Almost complete, she has been painted in original 605 Squadron markings and shares the hangar with two other Mosquitos, B.35 ‘TA634’ and prototype ‘W4050’. de Havilland Aircraft Museum, Salisbury Hall, London Colney, UK.
