Description
Polski: Osoba na zdjęciu to Stanisław Rabiński, legionista, porucznik kawalerii, dowódca 3 szw. 2 p. ułanów Legionów Polskich. Uczestniczył w całej kampanii II Brygady Legionów Polskich. Po kryzysie przysięgowym znalazł się w Polskim Korpusie Posiłkowym, gdzie pełnił funkcję zastępcy dowódcy 2 pułku ułanów PKP. W lutym 1918 roku, na skutek przejścia przez II Brygadę frontu pod Rarańczą, Stanisław Rabiński wraz z całym 2 pułkiem ułanów, został internowany przez Austriaków w obozie w Dulfalva na Węgrzech. Po zwolnieniu z internowania wstąpił do Polskiej Siły Zbrojnej, gdzie został zastępcą dowódcy kursu wyszkolenia kawalerii. Po odzyskaniu przez Polskę niepodległości w listopadzie 1918 roku wstąpił do Wojska Polskiego. W okresie II RP służył w kawalerii, awansując do stopnia podpułkownika.

Stanisław Rabiński na tym zdjęciu ubrany jest w ułankę z futrzanym kołnierzem, bryczesy wpuszczone w cholewy butów i w czapkę furażerkę z orzełkiem legionowym.

Zdjęcie zostało wykonane prawdopodobnie w Czewlu (wieś na Wołyniu koło Kowla). Od 30 marca do połowy maja 1916 roku stacjonował tam 2 pułk ułanów Legionów Polskich.
