| Description |
English: Stanhope Drive from Broadway. The trees in Stanhope Drive form a memorial to the 211 men and 1 woman of Horsforth who were killed in the first world war, one tree for each person. Originally there were little metal plaques at the base of each tree with a name. I have only seen 2 of them recently.
And by the tree - the first daffodils of spring in Horsforth. See 192195 |
