Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This 110-foot-tall standpipe water tower was constructed along East Main Street in Addison during a 1952-53 installation of the village's modern water system. The water tower, one of few standpipe variety still in use in the United States, is set for decommissioning, with a new bulb tower to be constructed nearby. Painting maintenance on the standpipe tower has been discontinued as part of the replacement plan.
