Description
English: Stamp design: F. Kepler.  · 2-headed Russian eagle. Face value bottom middle.  · First letterpress issue Type I perf 14¼ x 14.  · On the first letterpress issue (Mi:FI 57, Sn:FI 72) the horizontal shading lines behind the coat of arms are clearer and generally unbroken. The "1" has wider serifs at top and bottom and the "E" in "PEN." is curved at the bottom. On Type I the "0" is "10" is more rounded at the top and bottom.
