English: Printed by La Papelera S.A., La Paz.  · 1960 issue overprinted in black "CL Aniversario/ Heroinas Coronilla/ new value ($b1.20 on 800b)  · CE 776.  · The date commemorates the Battle of La Coronilla, which took place on 27 May 1812, during the Bolivian War of Independence, in what is now the city of Cochabamba. In this battle, women fighting for the country's independence were slaughtered by the Spanish army.
