English: Printed by Litografias Unidas, La Paz.  · Stamp of 1955 surcharged in black $b0.10 on 55b and overrinted "XXV/ Aniversari PAz/ de Charco".  · CE 781.  · The Chaco War (1932–1935) was fought between Bolivia and Paraguay over control of the northern part of the Gran Chaco region of South America, which was thought to be rich in oil.The ultimate peace treaties, signed on June 12,1935, granted two-thirds of the disputed territories to Paraguay.
