The Royal Kings Arms hotel in Lancaster, Lancashire was founded in 1625 and rebuilt in 1879. It occupies a city centre location on the A6 road (King Street) by priory and castle.
Date Listed: 13 March 1995, English Heritage Building ID: 383207 Lancaster was the home to Gillows- furniture makers and consequently one finds examples of superb wood work. The windows show the same attention to design as the stairs. |
