| Description | The photo shows the corrected stainless steel reinforcing steel after it had been returned from cleaning and straightening and was now acceptable for use in the decks. The corrections delayed the project by about 4 weeks, but would ensure that the FHWA, Highways for LIFE project with Vtrans would meet the innovative technology design requirements for a highly durable bare high performance concrete (HPC) deck reinforced with solid stainless steel. |
