Description
English: A view of that bell-tower that crowns the town hall of St-Gilles. Against the night sky, it draws my attention - day-after-day. I often just stand there, in front of the window, looking at it. Dreaming of what is beyond... (actually, there is a prison behind it. How often have the inmates gazed at it, with their dreams of getting away ...). I’ve taken to photographing it... it has become my lighthouse. My beacon. When returning from a voyage, it has become the sign of home - on the way out, it is the last thing I look at.
