Summary
[edit]DescriptionStac Pollaidh from Loch Lurgainn - geograph.org.uk - 1142745.jpg |
English: Stac Pollaidh from Loch Lurgainn This splendid hill is neither a Munro nor yet a Corbett and at 2009 feet merely scrapes into the list of Grahams. However, what it lacks in height it makes up for in every other respect and appears in most discerning mountaineers list of favourites. Its serrated summit ridge of sandstone pillars earned it the accurate description, I think by a Professor Heddle, who likened it to , " An irascible porcupine." |
