English: Stable mates Horses and African pygmy goats make good mates and can often be seen sharing a pasture. Pygmy goats originate from the Cameroon Valley of West Africa. Imported into the United States from European zoos in the 1950s for use in zoos and as a research animal, they soon became popular pets. The Pygmy Goat Club (PGC) was formed in 1982 to protect the interests and improve the status of pygmy goats in Great Britain > http://www.pygmygoatclub.org/about.htm
