Cymraeg: Stablau Rhosydd, Cwmorthin, Gwynedd. Chwarel lechi oedd Rhosydd.
Adeiladodd cwmni Chwarel Lechi Rhosydd stablau Rhosydd yn y 1850au hwyr i gadw'r merlod a ddefnyddid i gludo llechi o Chwarel Rhosydd drwy’r dyffryn. Nodir yng Nghyfrifiad 1871 ei fod hefyd yn cael ei ddefnyddio fel barics, lle roedd dau breswylydd wedi'u rhestru mewn adeilad o'r enw Barics Rhosydd.English: Rhosydd Stables in the valley of Cwmorthin, Gwynedd, Wales.
The Rhosydd Quarry company built the Rhosydd Stables in the late 1850’s to stable the ponies used to carry ithe slates from the Rhosydd Quarry through the valley. It is noted in the 1871 Census that it is also used as barracks, where two occupants are listed in a building called Rhosydd Barracks. |
