[edit]DescriptionSt Vincent's Works - geograph.org.uk - 1232165.jpg |
English: St Vincent's Works Offices built for John Lysaght's works in Silverthorne Lane. Late 19th century Grade 2* Listed Building in the 'Ruritanian Romanesque' style. The works specialised in galvanising and corrugating steel for the Australian export market and the fabrication of oil drums. Fabrications were provided for the SS Great Britain and Clifton Suspension Bridge.
The current owner's Garrard Hassan restored the building in 2000 from a derelict condition. |
