Summary

[edit]
Description

Interior of St Stephen's Church, Kirkstall, West Yorkshire, England. It was designed by Stephen Dennis Chantrell and consecrated in 1829. It was renovated by Perkin and Backhouse in 1864, and during this renovation Burstall and Taylor added the carved label stops and corbels inside the building, and a carved Caen stone font. That font was recently removed.

Photograph of unknown former incumbent. From his dress and haircut, this is possibly Samuel Collard Harris (1869-1940) who served 1907-1936.
