St Peter's Church, Sibton, Suffolk, north side of chancel, mural monument to Sir Edmond Barker (d.1676) and his wife Mary Cooper / Cowper (Lady Barker) "two interlocked oval niches with frontal busts" (Listed building text[1]) . As the inscription states (see better image[2]) he was lord of the manor of Peasenhall and a Gentleman Pensioner in Ordinary to King Charles II. He married Mary Cooper / Cowper, a daughter of Sir William Cowper, 1st Baronet (1582–1664) and Knight, of Ratling Court, Nonington, Kent. Arms: Per chevron argent and gules a crescent counterchanged (Chapman (alias Barker)) impaling Argent, three martlets gules on a chief engrailed of the last three annulets or (Cowper (Earl Cowper)).
