Summary

[edit]
Description St Paul's Church, Manningham, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by Mallinson & Healey, completed 1846. All stone carving by Robert Mawer. Detail from 1864 window by Dante Gabriel Rosetti, made by William Morris, in light box in nave. Originally it was in the west wall of the north aisle. During the 1971 reordering, this window was removed from its single lancet and stored in damaged condition in a wooden box. It was restored by Alan Younger of London in 1981, using old photographs. Bradford Cathedral has a similar light by Rosetti and Morris in its east window.
