Description

Church of St Margaret, Sprowston, near Norwich, Norfolk, ledger stone of James Hobart, Esquire (d.1694) (son of Sir Miles Hobart, KB, created Knight of the Bath at the coronation of King Charles I, by his wife Margaret Sutton (1597-1674), a daughter of w:Edward Sutton, 5th Baron Dudley (1567-1643)), who married Katherine Jones (1641-1710), daughter of a London merchant. He was also seated at Beeston, Norfolk. He sold the manor of Little Plumstead, Norfolk. (Source: W.
