Description
English: St Johns School Air-raid shelter St Johns School, across Pendleton Road from St Johns Church, still has its large air raid shelter, built during the second world war. During the hurried construction of the girls and infants shelter a sewer was encountered and supported by a low wall in the passage between the two entrances.
