English: St John's Lock, River Thames, in wintry sunshine & snow St. John's Lock near Lechlade is the highest lock on the River Thames. In this view from late January 2004 the wintry sunshine has melted the snow on the trees but it still remains on the ground. Such scenes are now becoming rarer. |
