English: St John's Chapel, Caroy. The chapel is a ruin and has been out of use for around a century. The graveyard is still in use however - and includes a memorial to Flora MacDonald Swire, a victim of the Lockerbie plane disaster in 1988. Flora, daughter of Dr. Jim Swire, was a direct descendant of the Flora MacDonald. |
