Description

St James' Park football stadium, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The stadium gates, having previously been removed as part of expansion works, have since been restored and re-erected in this new position at the base of the glass atrium in the middle of the west stand. A plaque to the left of them reads, "These gates symbolise the strength and solidarity of Newcastle United Football Club and all supporters. With thanks to: Sir John Hall, The Magpie Group, NUFC Fans United. These gates were kindly restored and installed on the 24th August 2013 by club sponsor Wonga.
