An alternative coat of arms for St Hillary is: Argent, on a chief azure two saltires or (as quartered by FitzAlan-Howard, Duke of Norfolk, Earl of Arundel) (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884, p.888 "St Hillary"). w:William d'Aubigny, 2nd Earl of Arundel (d. 1193) married Matilda (or Maud) de St. Hilary/de Saint Hilaire, daughter (and heiress) of James FitzEudo, de Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët.
