English: St Helen's church. St Helen's church > 915279 - 915296 is located at the end of a narrow lane, with only a farmhouse as its neighbour. The chancel was rebuilt in Victorian times but the nave dates from the 15th century and still has its original rood screen > 915283 consisting of eight panels depicting saints > 915286. Some of the benches have carvings depicting fantasy animals > 915292. The chancel retains a full set of C17 communion rails > 915290 and the old cast iron Victorian Turtle Stove > 915302 still stands by the south doorway. The church is kept locked.
