Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Gabriel's Convent - Sisters of Mercy.jpg |
English: In 1921 Booval House was acquired by the Catholic church. After some years the house was converted into a convent. To house the nun's the originally open veranda's were closed in with brick and windows. The newly built free standing chapel in the 1969 was linked on the second level to the main house. It was the Jackson's who purchased Booval House in 1997 that painstakingly returned Booval House to its original glory. |
