| Description |
 English: Rear view of the sword rest in the church of Saint Clement Eastcheap, Clement's Lane, London, England. On the rail in front of the front pews.
Although front and rear are virtually indistinguishable we know this is the rear because a) this side is facing away from the congregation and b) the gold cup near the bottom is on the other side. The cup supports the hilt of the sword. The rest can be seen in this image about a quarter way in from the left hand edge and in this image at extreme right. More details and images. |
