Summary
[edit]DescriptionSt Chad's Water - geograph.org.uk - 642881.jpg |
English: St Chad's Water I do not know the purpose of this small platform, the Hand rails would seem to make unsuitable for fishing from, so it just appears to be there to house the sign at the end which tells of some of the species of water fowl which can be seen.
I took a few shots hoping that one would catch the two swans perfectly symmetrical to each side - but in all they were just tantilising close to being so. St Chad's water is formed from a gravel pit operated by Tarmac Roadstone - presumably to provide hardcore for the M1 which runs about 1/2 mile to the East of here. |
