Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The holy well at Raffony is still highly venerated, locals still visit here on the 1st February, St Brigid's day. The semi-circular, stone-built, well house is situated inside an enclosure surrounded by a hedge. A short walk from the gate leads to a small paved area in front of the well. Each of the three large stones lying on top of the well house bears an inscribed cross.
